Singapore is near the equator and is very hot and humid all year round, making it a pain to visit by foot. With its typical tropical climate, it also has frequent rain showers. The daily temperature excursions are higher, and the evenings and nights are pleasant, while during the day the sun is unforgiving.

Citizens of Australia, the European Union, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States do not need a visa for stays of 90 days or less.
