Climate & Seasons
The climate in Jordan varies greatly because of its desertic landscape. The further inland and away from the Mediterranean, the greater the contrast in temperature. In summer, the temperatures average around 32 °C, sometimes reaching and exceeding 40 °C. In winter, the average temperature stands at around 13 °C, with occasional snowfalls in the mountainous areas.
